The Division of Cognitive Neurobiology at the Center for Brain Research, Medical University of Vienna, has a vacancy for a full-time Technical Assistant starting 17 February 2025 (initially limited to one year with an option for permanent extension).

The minimum monthly salary for this position is currently EUR 2.699,- gross (14x annually) and may be increased based on job-specific previous experience.
We are an international team whose aim is to investigate the neural basis of cognitive functions. We work with electrophysiological techniques, behavioural experiments, immunohistological methods and computer analyses.
Field of activity:
Immunohistological experiments and analyses
Assistance with behavioural experiments
General organizastion of the laboratory incl. material orders
Instruction of the students in basic laboratory workic laboratory work
Employment requirements:
Matura or equivalent qualification
Training qualifications and knowledge:
Completed vocational training in the laboratory field
General laboratory experience
Experience with histological methods
Very good English language skills (at least B1 level)
Basic IT-skills (Excel, Word, E-Mail)
Enthusiasm for working in an international team
Independence and commitment
Communication skills
Sense of responsibility
