Abstract
I am passionate about understanding the brain's remarkable ability to adapt to novel situations and environments while maintaining essential functions and information processing intact. In my current role, I aim to look into the brain evolution and circuit dynamics, with a particular focus on newly generated neurons in the context of social and affective behaviors. My research interests encompass both physiological conditions and perturbed states, and seeking to unravel the intricate mechanisms underlying the brain's adaptability and resilience through a multidisciplinary approach.
Techniques
In vivo two-photon microscopy; mouse model generation and analysis; mammalian neural stem cell culture; sequencing; data science; behavioral analysis; and biochemical and molecular assays.
